The Carterville High School and Junior High soccer field at Cannon Park was recently vandalized. Someone thought it would be fun to do donuts on the grass we planted after the fall 2017 season. There are 2800 feet of tire tracks all over the field. All of the remaining home games for the spring season have been moved to other locations or canceled because the field is no longer playable. It needs to be repaired quickly in order to be ready for the fall season. We are hoping to raise the funds to help cover the cost of repairs.

Thank you everyone for the comments and encouragement regarding the vandalism to the soccer field at Cannon Park. The outpouring of support from the Southern Illinois soccer community has been phenomenal. A special thanks to Carbondale High School for hosting the remaining home games for our girls' team. At the suggestion of many supporters of the program, I have set up a gofundme to help cover the costs of the repair to the field. Please use the link below Carterville Soccer Field Repair.
